This is one of two obstacles to having large minion armies (aside from the imposed cap).
The skill that allowed one to maintain ridiculous numbers of Minions was nerfed a long time ago (Verata's Sacrifice). Without that you'd be forced to run Heal Area or something when the Minion count starts to clock over 20.
But the upshot is, with such a large minion count I simply wouldn't bother with OoU since I have so many attackers.
Alternatively I'd simply stack on some self heals and protection.

The other obstacle is that in the harder areas of the game, Minions die quickly and it's punishing enough to keep 11 of them up.

Hell no. With all the recent MM enemies added to the game, I don't want to fight mobs of 100. Minions are strong enough in PvE, even overpowered.

Taking out Minion Master-equipped foes are easy, as they are usually without minions at the beginning of the fight; it's your fault if you let them acquire any at all. Sometimes they'll kill the odd foe and maintain one minion, but the difference with a buff will not affect the amount of minions you can extract from one corpse.

UMADBRO?

Minions are good enough as they already are, it's your own fault for not purchasing extra content to enhance your game.

And also: Ever heard of "jagged minion bombing"? Yeah, it's why his minions aren't lasting long enough. That, and minions are really easy to replace any ways.

So that's the apparent justification and reasoning of buffing minions?

lol...

I'd rather have minion armies of 50+ than all those terrible PvE only skills that killed a big chunk of GW. And please don't bother posting the usual "don't like - don't use" nonsense.

That said, you could just remove the cap for human players. At least that would make MM builds somewhat viable for players again. As right now, the only place a player can still run an MM build is FA or AB. In PvE areas, heroes will always be better at it.

Don't trust him, he uses Ether Renewal and would just heal the MM with the previous reasons he used.

Actually I wanted to run a bar myself

And the justification is that it'd be an easy balance, not that foes are just as easy to kill. Although when mesmers were being updated people were having a fit because they thought mesmer mobs would be impossible.
